Tea Room Assistant

£9.23 - £9.55 per hour - Full-time, Permanent

Fairhaven Gardens is a small, tight knit staffing group and we're looking to add a reliable, hard working, like minded individual to our team. Our Tea Room Assistant role is customer facing so outstanding customer service skills are an absolute must to be considered. Other tasks within this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Table service

  • Serving and making drinks.

  • Taking food orders and delivering food to tables, clearing crockery and cleaning tables.

  • Taking and dealing with money using a till.

  • Various cleaning duties.

The successful individual will need:

  • An excellent attitude to learning, hard working, honest and reliable.

  • Have good adaptability and problem solving skills.

  • Be able to work under very busy circumstances.

  • Be flexible and available across 7 days, where needed.

  • Good leadership skills and common sense.

Role will be over a minimum of 4 days (approx. 32 hours per week). Overtime may be needed at times and will be paid.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential if you are determined and willing. If needed we will provide health and hygiene, allergen and barista training.

Ideally the applicant has to their own transport in order to get to the site. (Very limited public transport is available)

Successful applicant will be given free access to the gardens for them and their immediate family.
