Funding and Donations

Fairhaven Garden Trust is a small independent charity, set up to manage and protect a beautiful 130 acre ancient woodland estate.  The work we do is entirely funded by visitor admissions, memberships, donations and grant funding.  Regular visitors will notice our continual efforts to promote valuable habitat for wildlife by managing the woodland appropriately, introducing new planting schemes, installing wildlife boxes and feeding stations, whilst keeping the gardens accessible for visitors of all accessibility levels.

Larger projects within the garden, such as the restoration of the Boat House, and installation of our bird hides are funded through grant aid.  We have several projects in mind for the coming year such as restoring the island in the Broad, increasing our local engagement and outreach events, creating a more suitable wheelchair accessible board walk around the staithe and onto the platform and renewing our fleet of mobility scooters...... fingers crossed we are sucessful with our grant applications.

If you would like to support the Trust you can buy membership or make a donation.  If you'd like to do this, please do consider Gift Aiding as we are able to claim back through our tax an additional 25p in every £1, and all those 25p's add up!

Thank you

The Fairhaven Team
