Weekend Tearoom Assistant

£4.81 - £9.50 per hour - Part-time, Temporary

Fairhaven Gardens is a small, tight knit staffing group and we're looking to add 2 reliable, hard working, like minded individuals to our team. Our Tea Room Assistant roles are customer facing so outstanding customer service skills are an absolute must to be considered. Other tasks within this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Table service

  • Serving and making drinks.

  • Taking food orders and delivering food to tables, clearing crockery and cleaning tables.

  • Taking and dealing with money using a till.

  • Various cleaning duties.

The successful individual will need:

  • An excellent attitude to learning, hard working, honest and reliable.

  • Have good adaptability and problem solving skills.

  • Be able to work under very busy circumstances.

Role will be over a minimum of 1 weekend day per week with overtime available during peak periods and school holidays.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given. You will need to be a hard working individual, who is keen to learn.

Ideally the applicant has to their own transport in order to get to the site (Very limited public transport is available).

Successful applicants will be given free access to the gardens for them and their immediate family.

Salary will start as minimum wage, depending on experience.

While initially a temporary role, we will aim to retain any staff, who excel, permanently
