Half day practical workshop

Peter Mallett. This workshop is aimed at digital SLR
photographers keen to learn how to take control of their cameras
by switching to manual settings to improve their photographs.
The workshop will cover how to manually set ISO, shutter speed
and aperture, to freeze action and control depth of field. Learn
how the light meter works and how to use manual exposure for
better results in difficult lighting conditions, how to
understand the histogram and how to use it to improve exposure

Father Christmas and his

A treat for children this
Christmas is a visit to our garden. Follow the woodland trail to
discover Father Christmas in a traditional yurt tucked away
among the trees. Meet reindeer Comet and Blitzen before
returning to the tearoom for hot chestnuts and a mince pie or
two. There will be live music and an elves workshop to keep the
children busy. Stuck for a present? There will also be a
mini-market selling gifts and food goodies. As dusk descends the
lights in the garden will come on.
